We've still got a few copies of Mel Henderson’s new book Mr John, John Cobbold: The Most Eccentric Man in Football Ever signed by Blues legend Allan Hunter left after the Christmas rush. The former Northern Ireland international wrote the book's foreword. Signed copies of John Wark and Fabian Wilnis's autobiographies are also still available.

Two goals from Jon Stead and one from Jon Walters gave the Blues a comfortable 3-0 home victory over QPR. Walters opened the scoring in the third minute with Stead, who also netted twice in the corresponding fixture last season, adding to the lead in the second half before missing two late chances to complete his first Town hat-trick.

Football gathers to pay tribute to legendary Town boss Sir Bobby Robson later today at a memorial service at Durham Cathedral. The former England manager finally lost his long battle against cancer on July 31st, aged 76.
